The sports film has already collected Rs 950 crore worldwide.
Meanwhile Baahubali 2 has surpassed Dangal’s India collections and emerged as the first Hindi film to touch Rs 400 crore. Taran Adarsh revealed the stupendous figures.
Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Dangal ends *Week 1* on a PHENOMENAL note... Collects an ASTONISHING $ 29.13 million [₹ 187.42 cr] in China... MIND-BOGGLING! #Baahubali2 to surpass *lifetime biz* of #Dangal [₹ 387.38 cr]... Emerge HIGHEST GROSSER... First film to touch ₹ 400 cr... HINDI. Nett (sic)"
After Baahubali 2, Dangal is the second highest earning Indian film ever. Before this Aamir Khan’s 2014 release PK had occupied the second slot.

If we recall, Aamir has broken his own records quite a few times in the past. His 3 Idiots (2009) broke the record set by Ghajini (2008). Later, the same record was broken by Dhoom:3 (2013), which was eventually broken by PK. The record set by PK stood the test of time, until Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) surpassed the record to become the highest grossing Indian film.
